Gatura Sub Location is located in Muyu Location, Mukurwe-Ini West division, Mukurwe-Ini sub county, in Nyeri County, and is neighboring Gaikundo, Gakindu-Ini, Muyu, Njiru-Ini, Ruthanji, Mbiu-Ini, Wanjithi sub locations. It has a total popupation of 2,384, of which 1,133 (48%) are male and 1,251 (52%) are female. The sub location has 682 households which averages 3.5 persons per household. Its land area is 4.50 square km and a population density of 530 persons per square kilometer.
